It is important that you, your family and your team are safe and comply with the regulations of caution issued by the authorities. It is also important to be responsible to those around us. In order to reduce risk exposures during this period, OTP Leasing Romania team recommends:

Use as much as possible MyLeasing – support platform for our clients – for daily operations, unloading of damage and exit powers from the country, checking invoices and contracts.
Use remote means of payment (such as online or mobile banking applications), cards or other contactless methods for payments and money transfers
Please do not go to OTP Leasing offices if you have travelled to countries or areas affected by COVID-19. Do not leave the house if you experience symptoms of the COVID-19 virus or have been exposed to infected people or areas.
Follow the hygiene guidelines and preventive measures in any situation. At OTP Leasing there are disinfectant solutions made available to all visitors.
If it is necessary to go to one of the OTP Leasing offices, please take into account the hygiene recommendations: wash your hands before and after visiting our premises, keep a minimum distance of 1 m from other people, use the disinfectant products provided.

What do you recommend I do if the payment of my lease is affected by COVID-19?

The OTP Leasing Romania team is here to support you during this period. If you have problems paying the lease installments caused by the current pandemic, please contact your leasing consultant in our team. If you no longer have contact details, please write to us at [email protected] address, mentioning the following information: contract number and information related to your company's current situation.

Under current regulations, you can request a postponement of lease installments. The period for which you can request the suspension of the payment of the obligations resulting from the credits accessed is a maximum of 9 months and includes the suspension periods obtained within the legislative moratorium (OUG no. 37/2020), as well as those related to non-legislative moratoriums implemented by our institution. As of January 1, 2021, you can only get a one-time suspension of your payment obligations. You can submit your application by 15.03.2021.

We monitor and analyze daily requests we receive from our clients. There are several options that we can recommend, taking into account the regulations in force and the procedures of our company. We assure you that we make every effort to keep the response time as low as possible and to support you to continue your work.

How do I do for lease-related costs, such as CASCO and RCA payment?

Whether you are temporarily affected or in the long term by the evolution of the COVID-19 situation, it is important to remain responsible for the use of the goods that the company you represent uses. The OTP Leasing Romania team works with all agreed insurers to find the best options for your contract, taking into account the legislative and fiscal rules. In the meantime, we maintain our recommendation to continue the related payments, in accordance with your lease agreement and applicable legislation, so that in the event of an unforeseen situation, your assets remain safe.

During this period there are no derogations from the Periodic Technical Inspection and its absence constitutes a case of non-compensation.

What are the security measures I should be considering?

First of all, security measures related to personal information and its transmission remain in force. Please note that we will never ask you for personal or related data related to your lease through channels other than official ones.

Secondly, there may be several messages during this period that you receive related to COVID-19.Our recommendation is to pay more attention because they can be messages transmitted by cyber criminals (phishing messages) and may have appearances of legitimate messages or recognized entities. As with other Phishing messages, attention to detail is important and we recommend that you do not open messages whose source you do not know.â
